Welcome to Tranquility Lodge Ghana (“the Lodge”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing our website https://tranquilitylodgegh.com/, making a reservation, or staying at our property, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
1. Reservations & Bookings
1.1 Reservations may be made:
- Directly via phone, WhatsApp, or our website, or
- Through third‑party platforms such as Booking.com
1.2 All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
1.3 When bookings are made via third‑party platforms, their specific terms and conditions also apply in addition to these Terms.
2. Check‑In & Check‑Out
- Check‑in: From 2:00 PM
- Check‑out: By 12:00 PM
2.1 Early check‑in and late check‑out may be granted upon request, subject to availability and additional charges.
2.2 Guests may be required to present a valid government‑issued ID at check‑in.
3. Rates & Payments
3.1 All rates are quoted in Ghana Cedis (GHS) unless stated otherwise.
3.2 Full payment is required at check‑in, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.3 We accept:
- Cash
- Mobile money
- Major debit and credit cards
3.4 Additional charges may apply for:
- Early check‑in or late check‑out
- Extra guests
- Events and venue usage
- Damages or rule violations
4. Cancellations & No‑Shows
4.1 Cancellation and refund policies may vary depending on:
- The type of booking
- Whether the booking was made directly or through a third‑party platform
4.2 For third‑party bookings (e.g. Booking.com), the cancellation terms displayed on the platform apply.
4.3 No‑shows and early departures may be charged fully or partially, depending on the booking terms.
5. Guest Conduct & House Rules
5.1 Guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner that does not disturb other guests or staff.
5.2 Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
5.3 Smoking is strictly prohibited in rooms and indoor areas. Designated smoking areas must be used.
5.4 Illegal activities, violence, abuse, or misconduct of any kind are strictly prohibited.
5.5 Management reserves the right to evict any guest without refund for serious or repeated violations of these rules.
6. Visitors Policy
6.1 All visitors must check in at reception.
6.2 Overnight stays by visitors are not permitted without prior approval from management.
6.3 Unregistered visitors or overcrowding may attract additional charges.
7. Rooms, Property & Damages
7.1 Guests are responsible for the condition of their room and lodge facilities during their stay.
7.2 Any damage, loss, or excessive soiling of rooms, furniture, linens, towels, or equipment will be charged to the guest.
7.3 The Lodge reserves the right to charge the full replacement or repair cost for damaged or missing items.
8. Events & Facilities
8.1 Event spaces (indoor and outdoor) are available subject to booking and payment of applicable fees.
8.2 Corkage fees apply where outside food or drinks are brought onto the premises.
8.3 Equipment usage, power/generator surcharges, and cleaning fees may apply depending on event size and usage.
9. Safety & Liability
9.1 Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. Valuables should be secured at all times.
9.2 Tranquility Lodge is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property unless caused by proven negligence of the Lodge.
9.3 CCTV is used in public areas strictly for security purposes.
9.4 Guests use the lodge facilities at their own risk, except where prohibited by law.
10. Privacy & Data Protection
10.1 Personal information is handled in accordance with:
- Our Privacy Policy
- The Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana
10.2 By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of personal data for booking, communication, and legal purposes.
11. Website Use
11.1 Content on this website is provided for general information only and may be updated without notice.
11.2 Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of website content is prohibited.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tranquility Lodge shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss arising from events beyond our reasonable control
- Service interruptions due to technical or external factors
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
14. Changes to These Terms
14.1 Tranquility Lodge reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
14.2 Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
